Art Exhibitions On the first Monday of each month, in conjunction with Arts United, the Library hosts the opening of an exhibition by an emerging south Florida GLBT artist. These exhibitions are on view through the month and include didactic information about the artists.

The featured artist for May will be Angelo Lombardo. The opening reception, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Monday, May 5, 6:30 – 8:00 at Stonewall.

In recognition of the thirtieth anniversary of the 1977 referendum to overturn the Miami- Dade Human Rights Ordinance, Stonewall recently organized the exhibition Days Without Sunshine: Anita Bryant’s Anti-Gay Crusade, an examination of a seminal moment in American history.

This 20-panel exhibition is available for rental. To view on online version of the exhibition, please click here. For questions about availability, please call Stonewall at 954-763-8565.
